Miguel Flores graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1997 with an English and American Literature Degree and received his Law Degree from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas.  In 2007, he became Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Since graduating from law school, Mr. Flores has been with the Law Firm of Tanzy & Borrego.

A product of local roots, Mr. Flores is a native El Pasoan, attending Vista Hills Elementary, Desert View Middle, and graduating from J.M. Hanks High School in 1991.  In high school, Mr. Flores played varsity football and ran track.  He despised neon colors, but admittedly wore the acid washed jeans on a regular basis.

An avid mixed martial arts fan, Mr. Flores practices the sport three to four times in a week.  It is not uncommon for him to show up to work with a black eye, a fat lip or a swollen elbow to mention a few.  He has gained the respect of his employees and colleagues and has yet to discover the nickname coined for him at the office.  Depending on who you ask, he is either “The Mighty Migs” or “Hamburger Face”.
